The offer is $5 USD for one private letter of up to 1,000 words and one personal written response within 48 hours of confirmed payment. We accept up to five letters in a rolling 24-hour period; checkout reservations temporarily use a space.

Checkout stays closed while we finish testing and finalize support and refund details.

Private access, without an account

Save the private link shown before payment. Anyone who has it can read your exchange, so do not share it. We do not send reply notifications by email. Return to your link to check for your response.

Your words stay private

Your letter is read by the Dear Nobody responder and stored with your reply. Letters are not public posts or marketing examples. Avoid including identifying details you do not want to share. Stripe processes your payment and may collect billing information; this service is not anonymous to the payment provider.

Retention

Access to your letter and reply ends 30 days after the reply. The application removes their text from its active database during cleanup. Payment references may be retained separately. Infrastructure backups and Stripe payment records follow their own retention processes.

You must be 18 or older. This is not therapy, diagnosis, professional advice, or emergency monitoring. No particular emotional outcome is guaranteed. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for a letter reply.
